Restarting the build

After a long needed hiatus on this project, we are back to building!

We have gone through and calculated power requirements and software needs and are in a better state than we originally thought! I will do another post soon with those details.

When it comes to software, we are currently Enttec ELM to do the pixel mapping and pushing to the signal out to the pixel controllers.. however due to the licensing cost for the capacity to drive both panels (about $1,250 for 96U) we are going to spend some time evaluating Resolume to see if it will fit our needs to drive the panels.. (If anyone has experience with pixel mapping on Resolume, I would love some tips and guidance.)

However we are getting close to finishing the first half-ish of the first panel and can’t be more excited!

*Note: these videos were taken before fixing the pixel offset in the middle of the panel..
